Platform Rules
Last updated: March 2025
These rules define the code of conduct to follow on StreamExp. They complement the Terms of Service. Any violation may result in sanctions ranging from a warning to a permanent ban.
Chapter 1 — Respect for the Platform and Users
Article 1 — Identity Theft
All forms of identity theft are strictly prohibited. This includes using the name, profile picture, or any information to impersonate another user or a member of the StreamExp team.
Article 2 — Exploiting Vulnerabilities
Exploiting bugs, technical flaws, or any platform vulnerability is prohibited. If you discover a bug, report it to contact@StreamExp.gg. Any deliberate exploitation will result in an immediate ban.
Article 3 — Respect
Respect is a fundamental principle. Any insulting, racist, sexist, homophobic, violent, pornographic, or discriminatory comment or behavior is prohibited and subject to sanctions. Sanctions may range from temporary restriction to permanent ban, and legal action may be taken if necessary.
Article 4 — Bots, Scripts, and Automation
The use of bots, scripts, browser extensions, third-party software, or any form of automation to farm quests, falsify progress, accumulate rewards, or manipulate the system is strictly prohibited. If in doubt about a tool, contact the StreamExp team before using it.
Article 5 — Multiple Accounts
Each user may only have one StreamExp account, linked to a single Twitch account. Registration via Twitch OAuth technically ensures this uniqueness. Any attempt to circumvent this (creating multiple Twitch accounts to exploit StreamExp) will result in the ban of all concerned accounts.
Article 6 — Advertising and Spam
Any form of unauthorized advertising, spam, or commercial solicitation in the global chat or StreamExp communication systems is prohibited. This includes links to competing platforms, follow requests, and unsolicited personal promotions.
Article 7 — Compliance with Twitch Rules
StreamExp users must comply with Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Any violation of Twitch rules observed on StreamExp may result in platform sanctions.
Article 8 — Legal Compliance
Compliance with applicable French law is mandatory. Any criminal offense observed on StreamExp may be subject to legal proceedings.
Chapter 2 — Quests and Rewards
Article 1 — Fair Play
Quests must be completed honestly. Any manipulation to validate a quest without genuinely fulfilling its conditions (AFK farming, multiple inactive tabs, mass copy-paste messages) will be detected by the anti-cheat system and result in the invalidation of the concerned quests.
Article 2 — Virtual Currencies
Credits, Gold, and Diamonds earned through quests are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are non-transferable between users. They have no real monetary value.
Article 3 — Referrals
The referral system is reserved for genuine referrals. Any abusive exploitation (self-referral, referral of fake accounts) will result in the removal of referral rewards and sanctions.
Chapter 3 — Stream Content
Article 1 — Stream Content
StreamExp integrates Twitch streams via official embeds. Streamers whose content is displayed on StreamExp must comply with Twitch rules. Streams containing content prohibited by Twitch (pornography, hate speech, extreme violence) will be removed from the platform.
Article 2 — Inactive Streams
Streams displaying a pause screen, 'Starting Soon', or any prolonged inactive content may be removed from featuring by the moderation team.
Chapter 4 — Sanctions
Article 1 — Sanction Scale
Sanctions are applied proportionally to the severity of the violation:
- Warning: first minor offense
- Quest invalidation: progress or rewards obtained fraudulently
- Temporary restriction: access to quests and shop prohibited for a set duration
- Permanent ban: serious offenses or repeat violations, with permanent loss of non-purchased virtual currencies
Article 2 — Appeal
Any sanction can be appealed by sending an email to contact@StreamExp.gg detailing the situation. The moderation team will review the request within 7 business days.
Chapter 5 — Modifications
Article 1 — Rule Updates
These rules may be modified at any time. Users will be notified of substantial modifications via the platform. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified rules.
